Kultum Ramadhan Series #6

When humans are experiencing difficulties, problems, even depression. Thinking positively of Allah is something that we must maintain in our common sense. Rahmadi conveyed the meaning of Surat Ad-Dhuha according to Sheikh Taufiq Qoduri, who said that Surat Ad-Dhuha is a very beautiful and amazing letter that motivates us to remain optimistic and think positively of Allah SWT.

In accordance with the Asbabun Nuzul, Surat Ad-Dhuha tells the story of how Rasulullah did not receive revelation for quite some time, making Rasulullah feel sad and afraid of being abandoned by Allah SWT. Then in these circumstances, Allah SWT revealed Surah Ad-Dhuha as a reminder, encouragement and comfort for Rasulullah SAW.

This surah illustrates that Allah SWT did not abandon and was not angry with the Messenger of Allah, and emphasized that the reward He gave to the Messenger was the best for him. “By reflecting on the case of the Messenger of Allah above, we can also apply it in our daily lives,” said Rahmadi after he told the Asbabun Nuzul Surat Ad-Dhuha.

1. Comfort and Support Surah Ad-Dhuha teaches us the importance of not losing hope and continuing to trust in Allah SWT, even in difficult situations or when we feel hurt. It reminds us that Allah is always with His servants and provides support at the right time. 2. The Meaning of Patience This surah also teaches us the meaning of patience and steadfastness. The Messenger of Allah SAW showed that difficulties and trials are part of life’s tests, but Allah SWT will give a better reward to His servants who are patient and put their trust in Him. 3. Optimism and Hope Surah Ad-Dhuha teaches us to remain optimistic and full of hope, to continue to think well of Allah SWT, even in the most difficult conditions we face. This message motivates us to keep fighting and believe that Allah SWT will provide a way out and the best solution for every problem faced by His servants.

“By understanding the Asbabun Nuzul and the messages contained in the Ad-Dhuha Letter, we can learn a valuable lesson that in facing problems and challenges in everyday life, if we continue to think positively of Allah SWT, then Allah will always be with us and provide the best way to deal with the problems we face,” concluded Rahmadi in his sermon this time.
