In fact, there are quite a few people who claim to be Muslims but do not fast.

In accordance with the Al-Baqarah verse 183 which begins with the word faith and ends with piety. The basic capital for carrying out fasting is faith. If people who have strong faith can certainly carry out this fasting worship lightly, in contrast to people who have weak faith, carrying out this fasting worship feels very heavy.

“The best worship is worship that is done in the month of Ramadan. Because all the worship that we do in the month of Ramadan will be multiplied.” Said Dr. Agus Achmad Suhendra.

The outcome we want in life is to become a pious person. And we must truly achieve that predicate because the most noble person in the sight of Allah SWT is a pious person. In the process of achieving it, of course, it is not easy, because there are many obstacles and temptations throughout life that come to us.

We can easily recognize the characteristics of a pious person in this month of Ramadan, namely: 1. Believing in the Unseen Training us to always feel watched by Allah SWT. 2. Establishing Prayer In the month of Ramadan, voluntary prayers are also valued like obligatory prayers and obligatory prayers are also increased in reward to 70 times. 3. Setting aside some of one’s wealth Cleansing wealth and purifying oneself through zakat, infaq and shodaqoh. 4. Being able to control one’s anger and lusts As stated in Q.S Ali-Imran: 134 “… and those who restrain their anger and forgive (mistakes) people..”

These are the characteristics of a pious person that we can know. “If we perform the Ramadan worship well, then automatically InshaAllah the quality of our Taqwa will increase and be better in the sight of Allah SWT.” said Dr. Agus Suhendra as the closing sentence at the Kultum Ramadhan #1 event.
