Supaya jaringan tetap efisien, aman, dan terstruktur dengan baik, diperlukan teknik pengelompokan dan pembagian IP yang disebut <strong data-start=\"481\" data-end=\"495\">subnetting<\/strong> dan <strong data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"541\">VLSM (Variable Length Subnet Masking)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"544\" data-end=\"808\">Keduanya adalah teknik penting dalam manajemen jaringan yang bertujuan mengoptimalkan penggunaan alamat IP, terutama dalam jaringan skala menengah hingga besar. IP Address dibagi menjadi dua bagian:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1286\" data-end=\"1428\">\n<li data-start=\"1286\" data-end=\"1354\">\n<p data-start=\"1288\" data-end=\"1354\"><strong data-start=\"1288\" data-end=\"1302\">Network ID<\/strong>: Mengidentifikasi jaringan tempat perangkat berada.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1355\" data-end=\"1428\">\n<p data-start=\"1357\" data-end=\"1428\"><strong data-start=\"1357\" data-end=\"1368\">Host ID<\/strong>: Mengidentifikasi perangkat (host) dalam jaringan tersebut.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1430\" data-end=\"1557\">Contoh IP Address:<br data-start=\"1448\" data-end=\"1451\" \/><strong data-start=\"1451\" data-end=\"1470\">192.168.1.10\/24<\/strong><br data-start=\"1470\" data-end=\"1473\" \/>Angka \u201c\/24\u201d menunjukkan subnet mask atau jumlah bit yang digunakan untuk network ID.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3 style=\"text-align: left\" class=\"vc_custom_heading vc_do_custom_heading\" >b. Apa itu VLSM?<\/h2>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p data-start=\"3759\" data-end=\"4026\"><strong data-start=\"3759\" data-end=\"3800\">VLSM (Variable Length Subnet Masking)<\/strong> adalah teknik subnetting yang lebih fleksibel, memungkinkan kita membuat subnet dengan ukuran yang berbeda-beda sesuai kebutuhan jumlah host. Ini berbeda dengan subnetting biasa yang membagi jaringan menjadi ukuran yang sama.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4028\" data-end=\"4139\">VLSM digunakan untuk menghindari pemborosan IP dan cocok untuk jaringan yang punya kebutuhan host tidak merata.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3 style=\"text-align: left\" class=\"vc_custom_heading vc_do_custom_heading\" >4.
