Meskipun saat ini teknologi jaringan nirkabel (wireless) berkembang pesat, kabel jaringan tetap menjadi tulang punggung bagi sistem komunikasi digital karena kestabilan, kecepatan tinggi, dan keamanannya yang lebih baik.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"683\" data-end=\"980\">Tiga jenis kabel yang paling umum digunakan dalam instalasi jaringan komputer adalah <strong data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"801\">UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair)<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"803\" data-end=\"834\">STP (Shielded Twisted Pair)<\/strong>, dan <strong data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"855\">Fiber Optic<\/strong>. Masing-masing memiliki karakteristik, fungsi, dan keunggulan tersendiri tergantung pada kebutuhan dan lingkungan instalasi.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"982\" data-end=\"1166\">Artikel ini akan mengupas secara menyeluruh ketiga jenis kabel jaringan tersebut dari segi struktur, fungsi, kelebihan, kekurangan, penggunaan, serta perbandingan teknis yang mendalam.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2 style=\"text-align: left\" class=\"vc_custom_heading vc_do_custom_heading\" >1. Pengertian<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1243\" data-end=\"1539\">Kabel UTP adalah jenis kabel jaringan yang terdiri dari pasangan kabel tembaga yang dipilin bersama tanpa pelindung logam di sekelilingnya. Fungsi pemilinan tersebut adalah untuk mengurangi gangguan elektromagnetik dan interferensi sinyal dari kabel lain, meski tanpa tambahan perlindungan logam.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1686\">UTP adalah jenis kabel paling banyak digunakan dalam jaringan LAN (Local Area Network) karena murah, fleksibel, dan mudah dalam proses instalasi.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h3 data-start=\"1688\" data-end=\"1717\"><strong data-start=\"1692\" data-end=\"1717\">b. Pengertian<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3560\" data-end=\"3858\">STP adalah kabel twisted pair yang memiliki pelindung tambahan berupa lapisan logam di sekeliling masing-masing pasang kabel atau di seluruh kabel. Fungsi utama shield ini adalah untuk mencegah interferensi dari luar (EMI \u2013 Electromagnetic Interference) maupun gangguan dari kabel lain (crosstalk).<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h3 data-start=\"3860\" data-end=\"3889\"><strong data-start=\"3864\" data-end=\"3889\">b.
